Scoring Breakdown

The tournament is scored out of a possible 160pts. These are broken down as follows.

battle points 100

painting 30

sportsmanship 30

Battle Points are awarded as per victory conditions in the 9th age rules as 0-20 possible score per game.

Sporstmanship is scored every game with a 0-5 possible score done using a handout checklist. With 5 games, players can score a maximum of 25 points from their opponents. After the last game, each player will rate their opponents with a score of 5 to 1. ie a 5 for favorite, 4 next favorite, etc. Whichever player receives the most votes for 5 will receive these 5 players choice votes and so on to tabulate the final score for sportsmanship.

The painting score is scored by the organizer using a checklist. Each category worth 3 points

1. Army is primered, pre-based, and has movement trays for game use

2. Some painting as been accomplished, either unit completions or various figs in the army. This will be awarded with the judges discression

3. The army is fully painted with a minimum 3 color base coat and the bases are completed.

4. extra effort has gone into shading and highlighting, blending etc......advanced painting methods.

5. Are any conversions present in the army.

6. Unit commands are easily distinguishable, the units are easily identifiable by what they are in game terms.

7. Extra effort has gone into unit standards, either through conversion work or painting.

8. Has any extra effort gone into the basing of the army.

9. Does the army have either a unified color scheme or theme present.

10. Has the player provided a display board for the army.
